Restrict the locations of eligible donors for your Campaign.

There may be times when you need to limit eligible donors to certain geographic regions (e.g., a Raffle might need to be restricted to a specific state, or a Sweepstakes might need to be restricted to the U.S.). You can limit geographic access to your Campaign through your payment processor or by adding a required notice at checkout.

Use Stripe or PayPal 

While RallyUp does not offer the ability to limit purchases based on location, Stripe and PayPal do:

• Stripe: Enable Stripe Radar for Fraud Teams and create rules to restrict payments. Contact Stripe for more information.
• PayPal: Block certain types of payments, such as those in different currencies or from non-U.S. accounts.  

Add a Notice to Checkout 

Add a special notice to checkout to inform donors of geographic restrictions. You can even require donors to acknowledge and accept the terms before completing their purchase: How-to: Add a Notice for Donors During Checkout.
